I really enjoyed the first two episodes of "My Demon". It has all the elements I like in a K-drama; supernatural drama, a love story and mystery.
Episode 1 opens with a chilling scene that sets the stage for the supernatural elements that will permeate the series. The discovery of a mysterious symbol and a series of unexplained deaths hint at a hidden world beyond our perception. The introduction of Gu-won, a demon trapped in human form, adds an intriguing layer of mystery as he navigates his existence among humans.
The budding romance between Gu-won and Mi-rae, respectively played by Song Kang and Kim Yoo-jung, is a central element of the series. Their initial encounter, filled with tension and uncertainty, sets the stage for a complex relationship that will undoubtedly blossom in the coming episodes.
The supporting cast of My Demon is also well-developed, each character adding depth and complexity to the narrative. The introduction of Gu-won's guardian, Ryeon, played by Park Sung-hoon, hints at a deeper connection between the demon and the human world. The death of a key character in Episode 2 leaves viewers with unanswered questions and a sense of foreboding.
My Demon has definitely captured my attention of with its interesting and unique storyline, intriguing characters, and the undeniable chemistry between the two leads. Episodes 1 and 2 have set the stage for a compelling narrative that promises to explore themes of love, loss, and the boundaries between the human and supernatural realms.
So far, "My Demon" is a well-crafted K-drama that has me hooked. I recommend it to anyone looking for a series that blends supernatural elements, a heartwarming love story, and great performances. I am eagerly waiting the remaining episodes to see how the story unfolds and witness the evolution of Gu-won and Mi-rae's relationship.
So far, I give it 9 stars: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
